Over $20 million in one week. That’s how much Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have managed to raise so far to help Ukraine. Married American actors started their action a week ago.

We managed to raise over $20 million in a week. I say “we” because it’s the work of all of us – says in a video posted on Twitter Ashton Kutcher. The actor is already announcing – the goal of the #standwithukraine campaign is $30 million. We will succeed – he assures.

Thank you to everyone that got us to $20m in less then a week. We can do this. We can hit out goal. Together. Because we stand together with Ukraine. #standwithukraine pic.twitter.com/2nxLatv1MD

We want to thank the 56,000 of you who supported us – whether it was $5, $10 or $1,000. The amount is not important. The important thing is that a community has formed, a sense of belonging and the ability to help,” stresses Mila Kunis.

Let’s act together, let’s spread the message’, encourages Kutcher. The first humanitarian aid has already arrived. There are over a million children, I repeat, a million children, who are refugees. Anything we do can help them. We are grateful to you,” he adds.

The couple Kunis and Kutcher launched the campaign a week ago. They themselves donated $3 million to it. Mila Kunis, 38, has Ukrainian roots.

I was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine in 1983. I came to America in 1991 and have always seen myself as an American. A proud American woman. But today, more than ever, I am proud to be Ukrainian,” says the actress.

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis got married in 2015. They have two sons, 7-year-old Wyatt and 5-year-old Dimitri.
