The tragic story of the girl, with the consent of her parents, was told to Radio Svoboda journalists by psychologist Alexandra Kwitko, who works on the hotline of the Ukrainian Ombudsman.

During the occupation of Bucha, five Russians raped a 14-year-old female resident of the town. As a result of this crime, the teenager is now pregnant.

In addition, after consultation with doctors, it turned out that abortion could make the girl unable to have children in the future. Therefore she decided to carry the pregnancy,” Kwitko reports. A psychologist helps the 14-year-old to accept the child.

However, this is not the only such dramatic story. Kwitko, who is on duty at the Ukrainian Ombudsman’s hotline, told us that she is currently providing support to five teenage girls between the ages of 14 and 18 who became pregnant as a result of rape by Russian soldiers.

To date, the hotline has received reports of 101 cases of sexual crimes in Ukrainian territories that were recently liberated from Russian aggressors. The victims are not only women, but also men and young children. The youngest is 10 years old.

Cruel rapes, new evidence every day

“Every day there are new testimonies of monstrous sex crimes by rashists (Russians) from liberated territories,” – Ukrainian human rights advocate Lyudmyla Denisova wrote on Telegram April 22.

In Irpin, three Russians raped her mother and 15-year-old sister in front of a 17-year-old girl. The women, who were beaten and raped with particular brutality, are dead.

The spokeswoman said that more than 400 people have reported to a special psychological helpline since April 1, mostly in connection with sexual crimes committed by Russian soldiers.
